On the Victory Publishing thing, I used and made it into a template so I can use it in any thing even a new word document...i think lol then people can use it as a template for anything, there are grey blocks with *click here and ....* type of thing inside it so they all have the same layout

Have realised can make the header hold as much as you want it to, it doesn't just have to be your name or the date etc. It can hold loads! Im shocked I never knew that before

This chapter is really short What's going on...

Right...the book is still on about styles and I sort of understand, but then again...sort of don't I think I do...but I'm not sure, meh it's me I never understand myself... you can add the date onto all of them as well in dd/mm/yyyy and present information really well.

I love this blog thing it's like a diary, not very formal but who cares <img src="/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":>>" class="middle" border="0"> it's fun yes it is...believe me!<img src="/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif" alt=">:-[" class="middle" border="0"> hehehe

 Comments

title-213870

Boo

Layout features for longer documents is done...CHAP 3! yay! well the first part anyway...

Learnt how to set up the document outline and the numberings and bullet points thing screwed up but it's all good

Now know about the demote and promote buttons yay

Outline numbered and Normal View buttons. I did not know about these buttons! Charlie had to show me where they were! Now I do

On to learning more about headers and footers...again...whish me look

OK BAK already...well it's the only thing good here to do, anyway...Learnt about headers and footers yet again and Insert Field and all that jazz which didn't work first time round, but it's OK now

I HAVE NEW SHOES

Inserted tables of contents , created captions and learnt about index thing where you press three buttons at once! WOW!

Learning about index-ing with the fancy, classic, modern n all that..it sorts them alphabetically and references their page numbers for you. It also removes duplicates of words to make it easier to read! ...kool...If you then go to the main entry place, you can edit the index as you do not want a seperate place for 'cow' and 'cows' for example <img src="/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":>>" class="middle" border="0">

Something about endnotes and bibliographies that I kinda get but meh...I'm so not going to be able to remember all this!

O that is all for chap 3 YAY! WOO! PARTY anyway byebye

Page setups and pagination - filling word with graphics and text n etc blah blah blah...

Headers and footers are here and learnt about putting an image in the header, and then when you go on to 2 pages, it comes up on the second page as well! it's amazing...

Paragraph formats and text styles

THE drawing toolbar.

Word Art

O O O Tables! Now here I actually did learn! You can make the writing go in a different direction and there is shading and borders *well i knew about the borders anyway but still*
